[DAYANA] OPEN THEME : A LETTER TO YOU, MADAM.

Dear Madam,

Don't be surprised of seeing this letter I am writing for you. How are you? Do you started to miss us already? The naughty and cheeky us that loves to make you mad? Here, I am going to open up my experience being with you for these 14 weeks.

You did leave a good first impression to me. The moment you walked into class, I thought you are one of us, student. I told myself, "Wow! She is so young! I bet she is still in her 20s!". Although until now I still don't know how old are you, but you do look like a new lecturer. I'm not making up stories or try to lobby your heart, but this is a true case. So, the moment you start to talk and introduce yourself  makes me wonder where did you went for your university. Because you do have accents while speaking and teaching us. I bet you are an overseas graduate.

Moving on, you are indeed a funny, cheerful and lovely lecturer. Although you did not have the intention to make us laugh, but you always did. You are one of us. You understand us as if you are in the same boat as us. You encourage us to try our best in everything, you motivate us and you support us in whatever we are doing. Seeing you smiled and laughed at Sadik's jokes and during roleplay make us happy. You do have such a sincere smile and you always laugh wholeheartedly.

On behalf of the others, I am sorry on everything that we had done which make you mad at us. During these 14 weeks, thanks to you, we had gain so many knowledge. We all had fun being in your class and posting our journal and essay on the blog. Alhamdulillah, we have completed our course. But time flies so fast that I can't attend your class anymore.

Till now, madam as I need to study for the upcoming final examination, and currently I am struggling hard on your subject! Wish us luck! Hope you are in pink of health and see you real soon!

Sincerely,
DAYANA

NEGERI SEMBILAN

In Malaysia, we have many states such as Kedah, Perak, Perlis and Negeri Sembilan. I was born in Negeri Sembilan. Let's me tell you history about Negeri Sembilan . The name is believed to derive from the nine village or nagari in Minangkabau language settled by the Minangkabau, a people originally from West Sumatra. The capital of Negeri Sembilan is Seremban. The royal capital is Seri Menanti in the district of Kuala Pilah. Other important town is Port Dickson and Nilai.

Negeri Sembilan is a unique state where they have Minangkabau house. The Minangkabau people brought along with them a cultural heritage which is preserved and practised today as the Adat Pepatih. Seconds , Negeri Sembilan also have traditional music like the Cak lempong, Dikir Rebena, Tubung klanang and Bonkai.

Port Dickson Beach knowns as a famous beach in this Negeri Sembilan . Many tourist come here for having their holidays and spent times with their family. Others , Seri Menanti Royal Museum knows as originally a palace for the Negeri Sembilan Royal family. Seri Menanti Palace is the royal capital of Negeri Sembilan. There also have many kind of foods such as Masak Lemak Cili Api, Tempoyak and others. Negeri Sembilan is the interesting place that we should visit.

[DAYANA] REVIEW A SONG : FIGHT SONG BY RACHEL PLATTEN

There is one song that keeps on repeating on my phone: Fight Song, sang by Rachel Platten. Thanks to my friend, Lina, whom introduced me to this amazing yet powerful song that I am addicted to now. Wherever I am at, I will listen to it, just to constantly boost my mood up. So madam, please give it a listen. Though I did not elaborate it much, but I am sure this will be your next favourite song, then we will have something in common!

So, lets review the song! Rachel Platten, not only sang it but she did composed and wrote this by herself through her experience. I googled her and the background of the song to found this, “I wrote ‘Fight Song’ when I was at a crossroad in my life: on the outside there was a lot of hard stuff going on and a lot of reasons to give up on myself, but through writing the song, I made the decisions to not listen to that small mean voice that was telling me I wasn’t good enough. I decided to keep believing in myself no matter what.” I can clearly see and understand that she once faced up with so many challenges that she could not endure it, but she get the courage to fight it back. So, this song is the summary of how we should act when bad people are circling our life.

Even Taylor Swift loves the
I wont be reviewing the whole song, but here is my favourite part, the chorusgoes,“This is my fight, song. Take back my life, song. Prove them alright, song. My power is turned on, starting right now I will be strong, I’ll play my fight song. I don’t really care if anyone believes, ‘cause I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me.” This lyrics are so powerful. Based on this lyrics, she wanted us to make this song as part of our motivation to fight challenges and don't let it influence our life too much that we will become loser. I am a normal teenager that is currently facing up with a lot of new challenges. I do give up sometimes and feel that I am the only one having problems. But after I give a listen to this song, I feel that the singer tries to send us messages that currently I am not the only one facing problems and that I can solve and defeat them one by one. I am stronger that I am now.

(Here is the music video of "Fight Song" I took from Youtube. Enjoy!)

So whenever I am down or having a bad day, I will be playing this song to motivate me that I won’t let myself down just because of the negativity of the people surrounding me. There is a quote that I love, “If people are trying to bring you down, it only means that you are above them.”.

[HARAS] EMBARASSING MOMENT

Have you ever been in an embarrassing moment before. What is your feelings?. Everyone look you and laugh to your problem .How can you hide your face during that situation. In your brain, just hope this moment never happen. How you need to move on when things happen in front of your friend and teacher ? huhuhuhuhu! It was embarrassing indeed.

Image result for embarassing moment
It started a few days after I registered at a new primary school, named Sekolah Kebangsaan Selat Pulau as student grade 1. During school I had a new naughty friends and have the same behaviour like me, all the same head. My friend call me  Haras ..

In the class room, all student talked, play, run and sleep when teacher not arrived . After a few minutes, teacher come in class and started teach . They all open the book and gave time answers a question subjects english. Teacher pick some student in random to answer and go forward . I had been selected and my friend go forward. We must read question and answer one by one. After my turn,  I can’t answers that, I feel scary ,restless and shy in front of my friend. Teacher asked me why can’t answer ,but I just keep silent and feel like crying with pants wet with urine.

Did not think anything, I just run from class to toilet and locked door. I cried inside toilet and called my mother's name .Teacher persuade me to open the door and out from toilet ,but it was unsuccessful because my friend laugh at me and I feel shy. After teacher surrender, she call my mother to come to school to help them .My mother came and I decided to go out. My mother hug me and I feel be protected and thus not shy anymore . The school gave me permission to returned home with my mother. The next day, my friend keep on laughing at me about what just happened yesterday.

This is the embarrassing moment that I can’t forget .I hope this thing will  not happen anymore. It make me scary and become phobias to speak other languages . Unforgettable, I am scared to talk during answer and question by teacher and make me hate english . Until now!!!

[DAYANA] PHOTO OF THE DAY : MY LOVELY MOM

She is my mom. Maybe for other people, she is just a regular mom, but for me, she is so much more.  She handles and take cares of our family. Her name is Wan Nidzar binti  Wan Embong. She is 5’4” inch and weight for only 52 kg. Although she is small and petite in size, but trust me, she can do everything and anything.

She has a pair of small and slanted eyes that people always mistaken her as a Chinese woman, and thanks to my mom, I took that gene from her. She has tan skin, rosy cheek and the most beautiful smile anyone can wear. My friend always praise my mom and says, “Your mom is a nice person, she loves to smile, she has the sweetest smile ever”.

My  mom is an organized person. She would clean all of the house and make sure everything is in place. She teaches me how to do household chores too. Although sometimes I complain that why only woman do all the work and handle the family, but my mom will tell me that everything that we do, we should do it sincerely without any complains.

My mom is a strong woman. She did every single thing in the house. Every day, she is the earliest person to wake up and start to cook breakfast for our family. When I was in primary school, my mom will cook variety of food in the morning for me to pack them to school. Then, she will start to clean herself up and go to work.  Around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, she will go back home and start to cook again for our lunch. Then she will dress me up for my Agama school.

At night, she will make sure that l finished up my homework.  My mom was a clever student, hence, whenever I can't solve my exercises, she will teach me until I understand all of them. I can still remember, my mom will take a week or two of leave from her work during my UPSR, PMR and SPM time just to make sure she can fully helped me. A month before that, she will make notes and print it for me. I am thankful for all of her sacrifices just to make sure that I am fully prepared for my exam.

Thanks to my mom, I get straight  A’s for my UPSR and PMR, but not for my SPM. I cried so much and scared that my mom will be frustrated with my result. But surprisingly, she still congratulate me and said I did well on my exams. She encouraged me that SPM is not everything and not the end of the world. Later on, she helped me on applying universities and colleges. Thanks to her again, I get matriculations in science, foundation in law at UiTM and Diploma in Accounting and Finance at KPTMKL. I was confused to pick which course as I wanted to become a doctor at the same time a lawyer too.  But my mom told me that I should choose accounting line as she knows if I pick  the other two, I would be stressed out so much. She knows my capability and strength so well. She said that I can do well in accounting line too.

Every single problem that I face, she will listen to them carefully, teach me, give me her opinions and will always be by my side and encourage me that I can face them all. She will tell me that I am a strong person. The quote that my mom always tell me is, “Allah won’t test you beyond his or her capabilities.” And that is what makes me strong till now.

Thanks to Allah, He lend me a good, loving, caring and understanding mom. Without her, I wont become a person I am right now. Mama, thank you, you are my supermom.
